Role overview:

  In Dec ’20, we launched Coupang Play, an online video streaming platform which offers the best of Live sports, latest movies, TV shows, originals dramas and much more. Coupang Play is a critical business lever for growing the Coupang Wow membership program. The goal is to make Coupang Play the most aspirational & sought-after entertainment destination in South Korea.

 As a Principal, Content marketing, you will drive new user growth & building loyalty of existing users.

What you will do

  • Setting up and driving content marketing campaigns, analyzing business metrics, and defining the problem statement for acquisition & retention
  • Create the acquisition model & funnel approach for new WoW member through a mix of always-on and marque content marketing on-app and paid marketing
  • Develop the right approach for growth of engagement & loyalty amongst existing users
  • Create a data driven view to track progress

Basic qualifications

  • + years with a background in content marketing in media and entertainment industry
  • Strong, analytical, and data-driven background, with proven ability to drive results
  • Experience in content strategy including planning / forecasting, sourcing and creation of content and assets to promote campaign plans.
  • Hands-on experience in working with Studio partners, creative teams, PR teams, social media team to drive content promotions; an understanding of performance marketing; budget management
  • Team player, capable of tapping into collective intelligence to solve problems
  • Ability to visualize data & narrate stories including the bigger picture
  • Business level of verbal and written communication skills in English

Document Return Policy
