Coupang Data Platform consists of Big Data Platform, Data Warehouse (EDW), Weblogging Platform, and AI/Machine Learning. As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for working across Data Platform engineering teams, driving and managing end to end project plans and working closely with internal business domains. This highly visible role will help build the data infrastructure that elevates data-driven decision-making for the data platform, including not limited to new business initiatives, cost modelling and pricing.
Help define roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams you are working with
Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks
Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
Interface with Engineering and business owners for project requirements and scope
Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiatives
BS or MS in applicable field
At least 5 years of Software engineering or Systems engineering experience
At least 2 years of Technical Program or Product management experience
Experience in Data Infrastructure/Backend systems
Experience in Big Data/Cloud Computing/Storage space
Analytical and problem-solving experience
Experience with writing SQL or similar queries to perform data analysis
