We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator to oversee the management of multiple SQL Server databases. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for various tasks including installation, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting, database design, optimizing security, and managing access.
Responsibilities:
- Install, patch, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Troubleshoot database issues and implement effective solutions
- Design efficient and scalable database structures
- Optimize database security measures
- Manage user access and permissions
- Design and schedule SSIS packages
- Implement and maintain ETL processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth database operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with multiple versions of Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in database design and administration
- Strong knowledge of SSIS package design and scheduling
- Familiarity with ETL processes
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
