OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to add value to our Finance Team. Working directly with COTA’s Executive Management, this individual will drive financial planning and analysis initiatives, acting as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making.  The ideal candidate has roughly 5 - 7 years of experience in an early stage company of the tech and/or healthcare industry familiarity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools
  • Support Executive Management and Department Heads to improve Company performance by evaluating processes and understanding ROI
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, expenses and capital expenditures
  • Advise Executive Management on financial analyses and decision-making regarding contract negotiations, significant costs and other matters 
  • Define and benchmark best practices
  • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and Executive Management 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 - 7 years of experience as Manager or Director of Finance, including Financial Planning and Analysis
  • 5 - 7 years experience working in this capacity with a startup, preferably in the tech and/or healthcare industries
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision, very organized.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
