Corvus is looking for a Key Accounts Territory Manager who will be responsible for acquiring new broker partners for commercial accounts. Our ideal candidate has strong existing relationships with the top brokerages nationally. In this role, you will own and drive revenue by acquiring new business and managing relationships in key markets.
A successful candidate will be extremely comfortable with technology and have the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. That includes the ability to communicate new technology solutions to intermediaries at large commercial insurance brokers as well as end customers who may find some technology to be a challenge.
Responsibilities
Grow top-line premium with top commercial retail brokers through demonstrating the value of Corvus and our Smart Insurance products
Establish new broker relationships within the largest commercial retail insurance brokers
Coordinate and schedule broker entertainment, including but not limited to marketing events, lunches, dinners, sporting events, concerts, etc.
Identify and drive new business opportunities around our Smart Insurance™ Products including Cyber and Tech E&O
Lead broker training sessions and drive the adoption of the CrowBar, the proprietary software platform of Corvus
Partner with underwriters to develop and maintain broker relationships through strong relationships, policy wording, claims handling, etc.
Qualifications
2-4 years experience preferably in insurance, technology or financial services
The ability to work cooperatively in teams
Deliver excellent customer services by responding promptly to broker queries
Willingness to travel nationally to major cities
High communication capability with good written skills and excellent verbal skills
Adhere to company policies and practices; If they don’t work, suggest an alternative
Be well-liked and have a positive attitude
