What You’ll Do

As an Partner Account Manager in the Tax Advisor Segment, you will be responsible for driving revenue by retaining our customers and ensuring their success through adoption, usage and expansion into our software and services. You will be responsible for our Tax Advisor segment which includes tax, accounting and financial firms. The Partner Account Manager is critical to the success of Corvee because you enable our firms to make the switch from compliance to advisory and create real change for their businesses. 

In addition to the above, you’ll also: 

  • Manage usage, retention and expansion of a set number of accounts in our current customer base
  • Report monthly progress to the SVP of Revenue.
  • List key accounts and large firms which you will strategically target.
  • Assist in the development and strengthening of sales processes.
  • Work cross-functionally within Corvee to create sales and support materials specifically for this segment and negotiation tactics.
  • Provide pertinent information to the product development team needed for success in the Tax Advisor segment.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 3+ years of SAAS sales or account management experience (industry related experience selling directly to accountants is a bonus!)
  • Technically proficient and experienced with web technologies (able to present pros/cons, use cases/examples, trends, and all that good stuff)
  • Proficient with Salesforce
  • Proven track record achieving sales goals using high-volume calling environment
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, tenacious, and a top-performer with a track record of consistently exceeding quota
  • A builder who is excited to help shape the foundation for Partner Account Management team
  • Consultative Discovery & Sales Skills
  • Highly effective in driving sales to close
  • Closer mentality and sales experience; comfortable with risk
  • Skilled at establishing relationships over a long period of time
  • Skilled at outreach efforts and overcoming objections
  • Manage partners after the first 90 days of their onboarding to Corvee, helping them ramp additional clients, keeping them up to date on new product developments, & best practices to get the most out of the Corvee platform

What success looks like in:

30 days

  • Shadow other Account Managers on QBRs, cancellation calls and expansion demos
  • Begin meeting with your own accounts and providing support in renewal and expansion
  • Learn the Corvee product suite 
  • Learn the Instead product suite
  • Learn our retention and expansion strategy and systems

60-90 days

    • Begin having demo calls for upsell/cross-sell
    • Learn the basic and advanced tax strategies within the software
    • Understand firm economics for marketing, sales, delivery of different service options
