Corvee Tax Associates regularly observe our clients utilizing our products, aid in support questions from internal and external parties and present to other departments regarding progress on key product related projects. What You’ll Do

  • Complete & review tax forms which include form coding, referencing, and tax calculations for our Corvee Tax Software products.
  • Test tax forms inside our software tool and ensure they are properly coded to create an accurate tax calculation our Corvee Tax Software products.
  • Prepare complex calculations related to tax forms assigned our Corvee Tax Software products.
  • Perform quality assurance procedures on tax forms, calculations, and planning strategies that have been prepared by other analysts and provide feedback to analysts, managers, and engineers our Corvee Tax Software products.

What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing tax projects, developing new projects that advance the effectiveness of our tax planning software, and assist in advancing our product suite. If you have experience in tax planning and/or tax compliance, then this position will come naturally to you. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, economics, government, political science, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be effective within a team.
  • Ability to execute projects independently from conception to completion under time pressure.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize major data sources, such as IRS and treasury department sites.
  • Self-motivated and diligent, and always thinking about the next step and next opportunity.
  • CPA certificate, EA, JD or LLM highly preferred. 
  • 1+ years experience in tax planning and/or tax compliance for small businesses.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and completely remote work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good communication and writing skills, with experience researching and implementing tax policies.
  • Ability to work well both independently and with a team, often on tight deadlines.
  • Advanced to Expert knowledge of MS Excel and GSuite.
  • Articulate and concise in both written and oral communication.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy (experience with picking up new tech apps).
  • Ability to shift between tasks with ease.
