Corvee helps solve two problems:

  • Taxpayers overpay in taxes by filing inaccurate returns based on their facts and circumstances
  • Taxpayers aren’t aware of tax strategies they could implement to save even more money.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete & review tax forms which include form coding, referencing, and tax calculations for our Corvee Tax Software products.
  • Test tax forms inside our software tool and ensure they are properly coded to create an accurate tax calculation for our Corvee Tax Software products.
  • Prepare complex calculations related to tax forms assigned for our Corvee Tax Software products.
  • Perform quality assurance procedures on tax forms, calculations, and planning strategies that have been prepared by other analysts and provide feedback to analysts, managers, and engineers for our Corvee Tax Software products.

What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing tax projects, developing new projects that advance the effectiveness of our tax planning software, and assist in advancing our product suite. If you have experience in tax planning and/or tax compliance, then this position will come naturally to you. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, economics, government, political science, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be effective within a team.
  • Ability to execute projects independently from conception to completion under time pressure.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize major data sources, such as IRS and treasury department sites.
  • Self-motivated and diligent, and always thinking about the next step and next opportunity.
  • CPA certificate, EA, JD or LLM highly preferred. 
  • 2+ years experience in tax planning and/or tax compliance for small businesses.
  • Advanced to Expert knowledge of MS Excel and GSuite.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy (experience with picking up new tech apps).
  • Ability to shift between tasks with ease.
