Your impact 

Correlation One seeks a compelling data storyteller, with data analytics experience and business instincts, to join our team. The Data Analyst should be passionate about data analytics, with a desire to work directly with enterprise and government customers. This role requires the strong ability to work with various data sets, clean and analyze data for insights and trends. Just as important is the ability to present your findings in a compelling and simplified format to critical stakeholders in written form and in live environments. You will partner closely with the data and engineering teams, while building relationships with large global and governmental agencies. 

This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Data Engineering & Data Analytics.

A day in the life 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries from various sources for effective analyses
  • Analyze our data to identify trends and stories that could impact business strategy
  • Utilize the results of the analysis to support recommendations for action to improve and  grow our programs and external relationships
  • Prepare analytical reports and visual dashboards to summarize findings and share with the appropriate company stakeholders through established communication processes.
  • Iterate results based on feedback from the executive team and/or other stakeholders.
  • Present business insights based on the data intelligence to clients and prospective clients
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Establish procedures to operationalize and automate the results of our analyses

Your expertise 

  • 3+ years of Data Analysis and Business Intelligence experience
  • Experience with SQL
  • Expertise in Excel
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Experience with data manipulation and visualization in Python
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based data lake/OLAP/OLTP environments (GCP Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.

Where you are

  • This role is remote for candidates based in Jordan. Working hours must be compatible with EST time zone.
