Coretex’ services cover everything related to the management of vehicle fleets. Our IoT platform allows us to collect millions of data points each day from our customers assets and interaction. This opportunity will see you be part of a data science team that has considerable freedom to develop a world-class data science stack based on state -of-the-art open source and proprietary tooling. You will be a key contributor of building our next generation technologies and products.
You will be joining a small, high performing team which means you will need to be hands on, show initiative, a strong communicator as well as the ability to innovate and question. You will be developing production quality analytics applications across the full development cycle from data collection and ingestion to refinement, machine learning, scheduling, quality assurance and reporting. You will also help scoping, designing and operationalising machine-learning models to add value to the services we offer our customers and to improve the overall customer experience.
You will work with our customers and the wider industry to understand what areas to focus on and what business problems need solving. Research and Analytics will be seeing you drive experimental data models and designs to uncover ways to drive interesting insights and outcomes.
As we grow and head further into our journey the volume of data is increasing and we believe in being able to drive more value and insights from this data!
- Graduate degree in a STEM field, preferably engineering or computer science
- 1+ years of experience as a data engineer in a commercial setting
- Experience developing data pipelines using Python, ideally experience with Apache Airflow
- Experience with the a cloud computing platform, ideally Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing Infrastructure-As-Code, CI & CD pipelines and automation using various DevOps tools
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with SQL
- Critical thinking, working independently in a small agile team, taking ownership
