Staff Data Analyst

The Job   

We’re looking for a Data Analyst who will have the opportunity to work with data at the intersection of data centers operations, atmospheric data, ASIC telemetry, blockchain networks, and cryptocurrency markets. The analyst will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver business critical intelligence, analysis, and insights. This role is expected be an expert in building interactive reports and dashboard in Tableau. As a Tableau expert, you will be responsible for helping and guiding fellow users.

Responsibilities:    

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, tailoring them to specific needs and requirements. 
  • Partner with our stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Data Center Services) on data, report, or analytics requirements
  • Lead end-to-end development of reports/dashboards used by different teams across the company using BI tools such as Tableau, Databricks Dashboards
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively perform data exploration and analytical deep dives to discover insights or future opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, demonstrating self-sufficiency while creating and socializing innovative data centric solutions.
  • Ability to create different visuals that can turn into actionable business insights.
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 7 years’ experience in Data Engineering and or Analytics
  • Outstanding SQL skills and experience in analyzing large-scale datasets.
  • Expert in building interactive, visually appealing, and functional Tableau reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma) is a big plus.
  • Proven experience in writing advanced calculations and expressions.
  • Experience with Databricks, PySpark and related ETL technologies is a plus.


Work Environment    
This job is remote. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones.

Able to meet physical requirements of the job, such as sitting, standing, use of both hands, etc.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m CST.
