THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CURRENT TS/SCI clearance.
Core One seeks an experienced cyber operator to be an instructor to support a Core One program near Ft. Meade, MD area. The candidate will have recent and relevant experience in planning and conducting Computer Network Operations (CNO) during the last 5 years. This position required approximately 20% travel in the United States.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support course instruction in accordance with a prescribed program of instruction (POI).
- Act as the primary instructor for relevant CNO and cyber-related POI.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in SIGINT, CNO, and cyber-related fields.
- Develop course material, course and student evaluation metrics, support POI development and enforce academic standards.
- Provide recommended changes to training material and POI as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Graduate of a SOF, SF or Ranger certification course with significant SIGINT experience, or, graduate of an Intelligence Community SIGINT certification course.
- Significant field-based SIGINT experience for a Federal Government Customer.
- Willingness to TDY within CONUS for training course support.
- CEH, OSCP, OSWP, GIAC GPEN and GAWN certifications, or equivalent.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
- SSCP, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Experience with modern operating systems such as Linux, Windows, OS X, Android, and iOS
- Willingness to TDY within CONUS for training course support.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to convey challenging nuances in the subject matter.
- Top-tier interpersonal and mentorship skills necessary to build constructive relationships with trainees.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently and effectively.
- Assess student trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of course presentations.
- Conduct training programs on complex topics and design and develop training program elements, modules, and labs.
- Provide guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong field, technical, and training skills.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Recent (post 2015) deployments in a collector/analyst role.
- Graduate of Intelligence Community Cyber certification course(s) preferred.
- Experience with common open-source pen testing tools, such as Wireshark, Kali Linux, nmap, Metasploit, aircrack-ng, kismet, hashcat, IDA Pro, or commercial equivalents.
