Core One is seeking a HUMINT Instructor with specialized experience to provide training services to the Directorate of Intelligence. Most instruction for the HUMINT courses will take place in Fredericksburg, VA and the surrounding geographical area of Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties and Richmond, VA.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide services in multiple operational areas to a variety of Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement audiences including:
- Operational Training
- Mentoring and Coaching
- Role Playing
- Surveillance and Detection
- Communications Plans
- Participate in curriculum life cycle refresh and corresponding updates to lesson plan documentation. Such updates reflect:
- Minor editorial changes noted during course review and delivery;
- Changes dictated by internal FBI policy or program revisions; or
- Regulatory changes which mandate major course modifications
- Conduct research, interviews, and interact with other United States Intelligence Community members who also conduct HUMINT courses as required to determine if content should be adopted within the FBI program
- Provide real time oral feedback regarding mastery of HUMINT learning objectives

- Deliver formal classroom instruction for specific HOTU courses.
- Review end of course evaluations that cover the instructor, course materials, and scenarios presented in the course to determine if course or delivery method modifications are warranted.
- Prioritize course evaluation feedback, implementing changes that have the greatest impact on current course materials in the shortest amount of time.
Requirements:
- Minimum of ten years’ experience with HUMINT. The ten years of experience shall include working as a collector of intelligence, with domestic full cycle HUMINT operations experience; extensive FBI Special Agent HUMINT experience; or other Intelligence Community (IC) or law enforcement HUMINT experience.
- Experience serving as part of a physical surveillance group in support of IC or law enforcement missions, or in delivering surveillance/counter-surveillance training.
- It is preferred candidates have experience in role-playing during practical exercises and teaching while in role.
- Experience delivering instruction and participation in the instructional design process for training on HUMINT and collection management.
- It is preferred candidates have experience monitoring and coaching students in HUMINT principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
