Position Overview
Core One seeks a skilled and driven Business Development Manager to expand our footprint within U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and its associated entities. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities that support USCENTCOM’s mission to promote stability and security across its Area of Responsibility (AOR). The ideal candidate will leverage Core One’s capabilities to align with USCENTCOM’s operational and intelligence priorities.
Responsibilities
- Drive the identification, qualification, and capture of business opportunities within USCENTCOM and its subordinate organizations, ensuring alignment with Core One’s strategic vision and capabilities.
- Develop and execute market strategies tailored to USCENTCOM’s mission requirements, emphasizing Core One’s expertise in operational and intelligence solutions for the AOR.
- Build and sustain relationships with USCENTCOM stakeholders, including senior leaders, acquisition officials, and intelligence personnel, to inform acquisition strategies and shape requirements.
- Lead corporate engagements with USCENTCOM decision-makers to communicate Core One’s capabilities and value proposition.
- Collaborate with program managers and executive leadership to lead capture and proposal efforts for USCENTCOM opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver responses to USCENTCOM-issued RFIs, market surveys, and RFPs, ensuring compliance and alignment with mission-critical needs.
- Present business opportunities during Core One’s gate review process, driving progression through the company’s formal pursuit and capture phases.
- Maintain strong business relationships within the Defense Intelligence community to facilitate teaming and collaboration for USCENTCOM pursuits.
Required Skills
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance
- Experience:
- 7+ years in DoD/Intelligence Community contracting, with at least 5 years of program/portfolio management or business development experience.
- Deep familiarity with USCENTCOM’s mission, AOR, and strategic priorities.
- Demonstrated experience with relevant IDIQ vehicles
- Proven success leading proposal efforts for federal opportunities exceeding $25M in value.
- Expertise in supporting the operational and intelligence needs of Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and allied partnerships in the CENTCOM AOR.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage senior USCENTCOM leaders and acquisition personnel effectively.
- Proven ability to develop and execute compliant and competitive capture strategies tailored to USCENTCOM’s unique requirements.
- Strong analytical capabilities for integrating competitive intelligence and pricing strategies into proposals.
- A well-established professional network within the Defense Intelligence and USCENTCOM-focused industry ecosystem.
