The System Administrator will team-up with internal staff to provide in-depth technical support and is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, security, and reliable operations of computer systems and servers for internal employee use. This Individual will install hardware and software and participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT compliance and business needs of the organization. This individual will play an essential role in building and deploying physical servers for Corellium customer orders and will work with the team to fix, deploy, and manage our information technology tool stack.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, security, and reliable operations of all company IT infrastructure including, but not limited to, user devices, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Management of user setup and access in our environments, cybersecurity systems, email related systems, Microsoft Office systems, messaging systems and other systems; setup new hires and remove terminated employees from Corellium Applications.
- Resolve Technical problems and system updates with technology stack, computer (MacOS, Windows OS and Linux OS) and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company; Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Implements and monitors security controls, risk assessment framework, and program that align to regulatory requirements, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including intrusion detection, threat modeling, firewalls, antivirus software, capacity planning, audit logging management, patch, and vulnerability management.
- Complete Security and Compliance Questionnaires.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Install and upgrade our team’s internal computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation.
- Ensure all internal systems have secure connections and perform smoothly to serve the needs of Corellium employees.
- Continuously improve the organization's internal infrastructure to meet business needs.
- Implement, review, and monitor various system logging.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in network administration, or system administration, and common information security management frameworks, regulatory requirements and applicable standards such as: ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI, SOX, etc.
- Deep networking experience, i.e., setting up hardware IP tables, ACLs, firewall rules, subnetting, pen-testing and network security.
- Software and Technical Support experience required.
- Knowledge of MAC OS , Windows OS, Linux OS and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and communication skills.
