Education & Experience: A minimum of bachelor degree in Marketing, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Insurance, Actuarial science disciplines. Possession of MSc, MBA and relevant professional qualifications such as CIIN and other relevant certifications will be an added advantage. The individual must possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience.

 

Role Description

The role holder will be responsible for the sales within in the unit by developing sales strategies to attract new clients. The individual will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve business target. Therefore he/she will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.

 

Job Description

  • Contributing to the business growth by assisting with development and research.
  • Developing and maintaining relations internally and also partner effectively with all cross-functional teams.
  • Developing and understanding of product line and value chain.
  • Initiate customer retention strategies and behaviors to determine customer personas for new markets.
  • Attend meeting, sales events, trade shows and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments and market products.
  • Seeking areas of opportunity in the marketplace to gain new customers.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports (Customer Engagement Report, Sales Reports, Customer & Product Revenue Reports) to the Managing Director on the activities of the team for management decision making
