We founded Cordial in 2014 on the belief that there should be more humanity and empathy in marketing—both in how brands communicate with their customers and in how technology companies work with brands. We built our company and platform purposefully, driven by a desire to inspire more thoughtful communication and to create experiences that feel more personal and human—for consumers, for the people at the companies we work with, and for Cordial employees. POSITION SUMMARY

As a Deliverability Consultant, you are considered a subject matter expert internally and externally. Your main focus will be helping guide our clients to sending success by interpreting deliverability-related data (bounce logs, engagement recency, SNDS, GPT, etc) on behalf of the client and providing meaningful, prescriptive, actionable guidance by way of reports, business reviews, and regular client meetings. You will occasionally help in the sales process and will be heavily involved in the implementation and onboarding of new clients. As a growth-stage startup, there are always extra tasks and projects to take on, so tackling side projects to help improve our processes and the client experience will be a big part of your day-to-day as well. 

YOU WILL

  • Be an advocate for our clients.
  • Onboard and implement the programs of a wide range of clients.
  • Work closely with Client Success Managers, Solutions Experts, and Engineering teams to best assist with client needs and meet company goals.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and external client expectations on projects and timelines.
  • Develop and share Best Practices with clients and internal teams.
  • Document and record all ongoing project work.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes that will impact Cordial clients.

ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ years of experience in a deliverability-related role.
  • Familiarity with MTA service providers (Mailgun, Sparkpost, SendGrid, Halon, PMTA, etc).
  • Expertise in the intricacies of sending to top-level MBPs. 
  • Experience troubleshooting sending to APAC and EMEA regions. 
  • A good understanding of email authentication, SPF, DKIM, DMARC & BIMI. 
  • Experience with onboarding clients including building and executing ramp plans. 
  • Autonomous in day-to-day work, with the ability to identify the next prioritized task. 
  • Ability to interpret high-level data on behalf of non-technical marketers and communicate the idea in an easily digestible format. 
  • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, both internally and externally. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills (diagnosis, options assessment, recommendation and escalation). 
  • Proficient in G Suite tools (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Slides). 
  • Experience using self-hosted MTA such as KUMO, GreenArrow or similar. 
  • Strong presentational skills, both building and delivering.  
  • Commercially minded. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. In combination with base salary, Cordial's compensation package includes equity and bonus, a robust benefit plan (medical/dental/vision/life), 401k match, flexible time off.
