ABOUT CORDIAL
We founded Cordial in 2014 on the belief that there should be more humanity and empathy in marketing—both in how brands communicate with their customers and in how technology companies work with brands. We built our company and platform purposefully, driven by a desire to inspire more thoughtful communication and to create experiences that feel more personal and human—for consumers, for the people at the companies we work with, and for Cordial employees. Today, brands like PacSun, Revolve, Abercrombie & Fitch, Realtor.com, L.L. Bean and Forbes rely on Cordial to drive revenue growth by sending a better message.
We chose the name Cordial to symbolize how we empower our clients to communicate with their customers, as well as how we do business: with transparency, collaboration, and trust. We're building a passionate team of individuals willing to learn, grow, and be thoughtfully challenged on a daily basis to continuously improve our product, company, and culture every single day.
OUR VALUES
- Communicate better than the rest
- Tenacious about the client and the problems we solve for them
- We’re owners and we act like it
- Be Cordial
In Forrester’s recently published 2024 ESP Wave, Cordial was depicted as:
Cordial’s vision to “build technology that helps marketers send a better message” stands out for its focus on kindness, authenticity, respect, and accountability instead of market valuation. Cordial’s values, transparent pricing, flexible technology, professional services model, and customer-informed development roadmap deliver; it grew 49% last year, has 93% retention, and, on average, improved its clients’ customer lifetime value by 50%. The company’s partner network is smaller than others in this evaluation and supports only core email use cases.
Cordial’s strongest current offerings are its integration, AI, and agency services. The vendor’s built-in data transformations streamline data integrations with any source. Cordial’s AI outshines other vendors’ by enhancing marketer productivity and email value, not just creating content. And more than half of Cordial clients use its strategy, production, technology, deliverability, and analytics services. However, Cordial needs to improve its reports beyond basic email metrics and incorporate privacy by design into product development. Even so, reference customers love that Cordial integrates so easily with other technologies. One called it “a breath of fresh air to work with such a modern platform.” Retailers will find Cordial a cost-efficient way to activate their myriad data sources.
