As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of shaping business strategies with actionable insights, refining sales operations, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, detail-oriented problem solver who can also translate complex data into high-level strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Sales Operations deliverables, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee and optimize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to enhance sales intelligence, field efficiency, and reporting accuracy
- Design, manage, and execute an incentive compensation plan to align field sales behavior with brand strategy
- Develop and maintain territory alignments to ensure optimal field team coverage and effectiveness
- Refine and implement targeting algorithms to enhance field team effectiveness
- Manage vendors supporting the Master Data Management (MDM) solution, including database maintenance, SQL coding, and troubleshooting
- Oversee data flows, including ETL processes, to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability across systems
- Develop and interface with new AI tools to drive innovative solutions and enhance analytics capabilities
- Generate actionable, data-driven insights to support both strategic and tactical decision-making, including the development of clear, concise recommendations for senior leadership
- Design and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and reports, including field-facing updates and specialty pharmacy metrics, to monitor and improve commercial performance
- Develop customized tools and processes to streamline analytics and align with evolving business needs
- Lead CRM training and field communication initiatives to ensure effective adoption of tools, systems, and data insights by the field team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Marketing, Patient Advocacy, Finance, Training, and Medical Affairs to deliver cohesive, data-driven solutions that address business challenges
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive ideas and actionable solutions
- Expertise in healthcare data, including patient, payer, and CRM data, and familiarity with statistical methodologies (e.g., regressions, correlations)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building and managing complex models (Excel "black-belt" required)
- Strong understanding of database querying, manipulating, and analyzing large, high-dimensional datasets, including structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud database platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Databricks)
- Strong understanding of database management, ETL processes, and large-scale data flows
- Fluency in MS Office, with a focus on developing impactful presentations and reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership and diverse audiences
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage relationships with external vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals and objectives with a detail-oriented approach
Preferred Education and Experience:
- B.A. / B.S. required; graduate degree preferred
- 3-5+ years in analytics, data science, sales operations, or management consulting roles
- Experience in the healthcare sector (pharmaceutical/biotech) required
- Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva or Salesforce)
- Experience with 3rd party pharmaceutical data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo Health) and a basic understanding of claims data and managed care data is preferred
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $174,700 - $205,600; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
