Certified Medication Aide Job Profile

  • Medication administration and supervision
  • Management of medication supply and medication cart
  • Obtaining, recording, and reporting vital signs
  • Processing medication re-orders
  • Dressing, grooming, shower assistance
  • Reporting of health status concerns
  • Assistance during dining services with escorting, serving, and clean up
  • Bed-making, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned

Certified Medication Aide Job Requirements

  • Active state certification as a CMA / Certified Medication Aide.
  • Experience passing medication preferred, but not required
  • Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced work environment
  • Positive attitude and interest in working with the elderly
