SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing world-class customer service in order to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair commercial food equipment and appliances (grills, ovens, skillets, fryers, etc)
OR refrigeration (walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, etc) for our valued customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following but other duties may be assigned.)

Coordinate with management to assure consistency in our service strategy and execution.

Properly troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs commercial food equipment and appliances, HVAC systems and refrigeration.

Defines service problems, collects data, establishes facts, and enters accurate information into ticketing system, as well as communicates effectively with manager

Follows safe work practices and accident prevention procedures

Maintains a neat and orderly facilities office, along with a good part and tool inventory.

Conduct yourself in accordance with the company handbook
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (i.e. EPA, CFESA)
-
Commercial refrigeration and/or commercial cooking equipment repair experience
-
Self-motivated with the proven ability prioritize and work independently
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
Two (2) years of education/experience in food service equipment repair or related area is a plus.

Background experience in gas, electricity, plumbing and/or steam repairs or a strong desire and willingness to learn/study quickly.

Strong experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration is a plus.

Knowledge or experience of on computer systems and tablets or a strong desire and willingness to learn/study quickly.

Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds
-
Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and risk of electrical shock in damp, humid, or freezing conditions

Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places
Compensation
All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
