Sales Development Representative – Singapore

The Role:
This is a greenfield role as we establish our regional Demand Generation Team within Singapore. You will work closely with our Senior BDM’s to proactively identify and contact new prospects from multiple sources including databases, events, and partnerships to determine their requirements and arrange qualified appointments for our Senior BDM’s.
This role is based in Convera’s Singapore office and is a hybrid role.
- Confidence to make outbound calls to identify, qualify and set appointments for our Senior Business Development Managers
- Directly prospect new opportunities by using sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo and other channels and means appropriate.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as revenue and appointment setting targets
- Work closely with the Senior Business Development managers, Industry leads and Head of Sales to prospect new contacts
- Manage the lead allocation pipeline to the sales team daily basis.
- Use commercial awareness to demonstrate and promote ideal solutions for potential clients.
You should apply if you have:
- We want you to have similar experiences in a sales role, used to making outbound calls
- Must be able to communicate in English. Cantonese & Mandarin (and Bahasa will be an added advantage).
- We do not mind what industry you gained your sales experience – financial services experience is not required (but it is preferred)
- Knowledge of / experience working in B2B payments or FX is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce would be advantageous.
- Professional telephone manner
- You are a resilient, motivated individual with a tenacious and competitive mindset to succeed.
