Senior Key Account Manager – Japan 

 

In your role as Senior Key Account Manager – Japan, you will be responsible for account management of Convera Japan’s key clients. Especially, you will: 

 

  • Liaise and manage account relationships with Convera Japan’s key clients.  
  • Maintain and expand clients’ businesses by securing existing portfolio as well as up-sell/ x-sell Convera’s new solutions to the clients, and achieve clients’ annual sales targets. 
  • Develop Clients’ annual/ quarterly/ monthly strategies, sales targets and KPIs, and track and make necessary adjustments. 
  • Plan, organize and lead Clients’ annual/ quarterly/ monthly/ weekly engagement cycles. 
  • Be the primary contact point and logistics management between clients and our internal stakeholders, and plan, lead and manage client-related projects as a project leader. 
  • Share clients’ strategy, pain points and opportunities to internal stakeholders, and engage them to lead projects to provide solutions to the clients. 

 

 

You will ideally have: 

 

 

  • It is beneficial if you come with experience preferably in payments industry or financial services/fintech. You will come with strong business-to-business and solutions sales experience. You will have excellent communication/presentation skills across all media, as well as the ability to use technology (e.g. MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, reporting tools, and sales automation platforms such as Salesforce). 
  • Demonstrated success in managing clients as sales representative in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving targets and deadlines.  
  • Experience managing relationships with and driving revenue from existing client accounts 
  • You will come with a strong understanding of consultative sales principles, and adept at executive corporate level negotiations and building long-term client relationships. You will independent self-starter with a tenacious approach to a new business acquisition.  
  • You will have the ability to work autonomously in developing new business growth whilst liaising with internal account managers to effectively manage the continuity of our customer relationships.  
  • You will be financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns, as well as the commercial impact of global news and events.  
  • Proven experience of working within and selling into multi-national global organizations. 
  • Language skill – Japanese: native level/ English: business level 
  • Consulting, Sales planning, Sales strategy development and Product management backgrounds are a plus.
