We’re looking for a strategic thinker, problem solver and collaborator who will come in to build and lead a newly created team dedicated to delivering on our ambitions across our data, tech and analytics offering.

This role will provide technical leadership to a team of data, marketing tech and marketing analytics professionals, working across Contentive and all of its associated brands and products.

In this new role you will think and work holistically in order to help drive the vision of how data can be harnessed across the organisation to deliver better outcomes for our customers as we look to support individuals to innovate and companies transform.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for creating and maintaining structures and processes around our Data governance and management including GDPR protocols
  • Providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership in all matters of data, technology and analytics
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and transparency around data and data technology
  • Build, mentor and support the data, tech and analytics team especially in relation to sharing best practice and establishing minimum standards
  • Be instrumental in building a data-driven DNA for the organisation
  • Responsible for unlocking the potential within our CRM and it’s associated automation functionality – build a customer first approach to campaigns and engagements
  • Work with the Marketing Director to democratise data, working to develop and deliver visualisations and dashboards which support the business to work more effectively
  • Responsible for embedding data-related best practices and introducing stronger rules around data governance to support our aims of becoming a data first company
  • Create linkage between the business and technology, underpinned by data
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development best practice guidelines for data acquisition – both in terms of opt-in/out and how this data is stored and used for marketing and reporting.

 The Ideal Candidate

  • 7+ years working across complex data, technology and marketing functions
  • Experience of leading, managing and developing a team
  • Experience of managing a CRM
  • Experience of developing data & technology strategy
  • Experience of technology project management
  • Experience of campaign automation management and delivery (ideally Marketo)
  • Experience in digital analytics tools and technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of GDPR processes and protocols
