The role you'll play:
As a Paralegal at Consumer Edge, you will be responsible for streamlining and successfully organizing the Legal & Compliance department’s documentation and contract management process, negotiate various agreements, lead compliance calls with various customers, and navigate effectively through other competing demands to ensure smooth execution of the department’s goals.
Reporting to the Director of Legal and Compliance and General Counsel of Europe, you will have the opportunity to be a core part of the business for a rapidly growing organization and serve as a key player in further developing the compliance team. The ideal person for this role will be highly organized, detail-oriented and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Organize contractual workflow, including managing intake of contract requests, track contract negotiation and execution, and file completed contracts
- Coordinate compliance and due diligence calls with current clients and prospective clients
- Manage, draft and proofread legal documents (including NDAs and various compliance documents), with an ability to create a strong documentation streamlining process through DocuSign
- Establish process and procedure around the day-to-day of the function and an effective contract management system, determine the needs of the department, and overtime continue to grow the department
- Be a reliable point of contact between the Legal & Compliance team as well as the broader organization
- Liaise with internal teams and external business contacts to establish seamless communication
We're looking for someone with:
- BA/BS degree, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a paralegal or legal support role either in-house (large finance firms or fintech start-ups a plus) or in a law firm
- Expert experience in Microsoft Office Suite / Salesforce / DocuSign (or other contract management software)
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Strong project and time management skills, resourcefulness, flexibility, attention to detail, unrivaled work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and has a high sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
- An autonomous work style but also able to work collaboratively within a team

- Salary Range: 75,000 – 90,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
