Position Summary

Become Consumer Edge's (CE) 1st-ever Marketing hire. Based in the New York Metro area, join a fast-growing global data insights business to build our marketing function and grow a team. You will have the opportunity to partner with our CEO, CRO and CPO to help design and execute on our marketing strategy across an expanding number of sales channels and geographies. You will have a "seat at the table" with the autonomy to architect a best-in-class SaaS marketing function for a business that has been focused primarily on product & growth the last several years. Marketing Director will have the opportunity to create profound impact that will be critical for the company’s continued and future success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute on a marketing vision and strategy across several domains, including Sales, Product, and Technology
  • Lead a strong in-class SaaS marketing function and program, supporting a variety of components such as (but not limited to) brand management, content marketing, website management, email marketing, social media, and campaign management
  • Utilize a metrics-driven approach to reach CE’s growth KPIs, and have a critical understanding into customer behavior, to help bring in new customers and improve customer retention
  • Manage the collaboration of marketing efforts across Product, Sales, and HR/TA teams to establish an effective brand strategy that remains consistent for all of CE’s various clients
  • Partner with our Product team to develop solutions around product/user difficulties or potential opportunities for improvement
  • Continual benchmarking and analysis, as well as competitive intelligence to stay on top of industry trends, technology, and marketing best practices to ensure successful scaling of the function
  • Effectively be able to advertise and articulate complex business concepts and products in a way that is easy to understand

What You’ll Have:

  • BA/BS Degree with minimum 8-12 years of marketing experience, with at least 2-4 years of marketing leadership experience at the Director level
  • Prior work experience in a high growth startup/scale up work environment for Fintech, SaaS, Data Product, Insights and/or Financial Services industries
  • Experience with enterprise B2B marketing strategies and best practices
  • Longevity within an organization for at least one prior work experience, demonstrating individual and department progression alongside growth of the firm
  • Experience owning and fostering Product Marketing, with demonstrated ability to articulate a roadmap and promote complex business concepts and products clearly
  • Comfortable utilizing platforms, such as HubSpot and Salesforce, as well as other marketing tools
  • Ready to roll up your sleeves while still possessing leadership skills with a proven track record in developing and executing on a marketing strategy and scaling a team
  • Strong collaborative and teaming-oriented mindset; ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders in understanding marketing and branding needs for all areas of the business
  • Knowledge, self-sufficiency, and experience in building brand campaigns to help drive sales pipelines
  • Technical competency and utilization of metrics to help drive and deliver results
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth organization with multiple competing priorities and ambiguity
  • Top-level innovative & critical thinking, strong written & verbal communication, and project management skills
  • Results-driven and solution-oriented, with strong business acumen
  • Desire to make a long-term impact for the organization
  • Trustworthy, shows good judgement, motivated by the company’s products and goals
  • Based in the NY Metro area and flexible to go into CE’s Midtown Manhattan 2-4 times a month (or as necessary)
