The role you'll play: 

The FP&A Manager, will report to the Head of FP&A and will serve as a critical component of the finance team.  This is an important role with the opportunity to have an impact throughout the organization.  The right candidate will have strong business acumen and instincts paired with exception financial and analytical skills, and will have the ability to understand business activities and outcomes and support the business with quality financial planning and analysis underlying them.  The FP&A Manager will have broad accountability for building and executing the financial planning and analysis structures that enable effective business decision making.  As we enter a new phase of growth for the business, the FP&A Manager will play a critical role in creating scalable financial and decision-support infrastructure for the future

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Play a lead role in the implementation of ongoing strategic and financial planning processes, including installation of annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting
  • Provide ongoing financial analysis and decision-support for business opportunities that arise throughout a performance year
  • Execute regular performance reporting including KPIs, historical compares, budget/forecast compares, etc.
  • Assist in enhancing ongoing financial and non-financial reporting activities, including creation of regular “flash” reporting, enterprise dashboarding, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to implement and leverage financial planning and analysis applications (e.g., Adaptive Planning)
  • Prepare regular reporting for the Board of Directors and external stakeholders
  • Provide financial deal-support as M&A opportunities arise

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • 5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of SaaS businesses and SaaS metrics
  • Exceptional technical finance acumen and strong understand of financial accounting principles
  • Executive-level presence as this person will liaise at senior levels across the organization
  • Top-level critical thinking, communication, and project management skills
  • An ability to see the concrete through the abstract and make things happen
  • Prior experience managing a team of people
  • Tenacity and motor
