The role you'll play:

The Machine Learning Operations Engineer at CE will be responsible for understanding the foundational concepts of ML and combining them with the functional expertise of modern software development. 

About Machine Learning Operations Engineers At CE:

Machine learning is core to our products and processes. Our models need to continuously operate in production while handling relentless, evolving data all at the minimum cost, but maximum performance. We are a cloud native organization so experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Design an ML production system end-to-end: project scoping, data needs, modeling strategies, and deployment requirements.
  • Establish a model baseline, address concept drift, and prototype how to develop, deploy, and continuously improve a productionized ML application.
  • Build data pipelines by gathering, cleaning, and validating datasets.
  • Implement feature engineering, transformation, and selection (experience with Kubeflow a plus)
  • Establish data lifecycle by leveraging data lineage and provenance metadata tools and follow data evolution with enterprise data schemas.
  • Apply techniques to manage modeling resources and best serve offline/online inference requests.
  • Deliver deployment pipelines for model serving that require different infrastructures.
  • Apply best practices and progressive delivery techniques to maintain a continuously operating production system.

We're looking for someone with: 

  • At least 2 year of experience designing and building end to end Machine Learning solutions.
  • At least 2 year of experience programming with Python.
  • Working knowledge of SQL

It would be nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Experience with Kubeflow
  • Experience with Airflow
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of SQL
