Constrafor is seeking an analytical-minded Data Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Credit team. The ideal person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our Credit operations and portfolio data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic decision-making through actionable insights.

📝 Key Responsibilities:

  • Incorporate and maintain strong working knowledge of the company’s credit policies and existing models to develop data pipelines and automate workflows wherever possible to streamline internal Credit processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor daily customer financial data and identify potential risks and emerging trends.
  • Analyze financial datasets to assess credit and default risk of the portfolio and our customers.
  • Generate weekly reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and surface insights to internal teams.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis, utilizing SQL, Python, or other relevant tools to extract and manipulate data as needed.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects with engineering and product, serving as a subject matter expert on Credit procedures and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

📈 Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, operations, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced fintech startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Experience with reviewing financial statements, bank statements, and working with financial lending products.  
  • Programming skills in Python and SQL or another relevant language for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
