About the Role:
As the Business Development Representative (Automotive), you will be a key driver of revenue growth in the Automotive sector. Your main focus will involve reaching out to Automotive Dealers participating in Special Campaigns to arrange meetings and assess campaign effectiveness. Your objective will be to transition these enrolled clients into paying customers of Constellation's marketing compliance solution. Success in this position will be gauged by the quantity of scheduled meetings and the rate of conversion from enrolled clients to paying customers.
This role will require a qualified individual to work onsite three (3) days per week out of our New York City office.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target Automotive Dealers that have enrolled in Special Campaigns to expand Constellation's customer base
- Proactively reach out to enrolled clients through phone calls and emails to schedule meetings, review performance, and convert to paid customers
- Conduct engaging and informative meetings with prospects to present Constellation's marketing compliance solution and showcase its value
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and presentations tailored to the Automotive sector
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new customers
- Continuously follow up with prospects to build relationships and move them through the sales pipeline
- Track and report on sales activities and progress, using CRM tools to manage opportunities and forecasts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings to identify new business opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for meetings booked and percentage of enrolled clients converted to paid
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales in the Automotive industry
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the Automotive market and dealer operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospects
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving results
- Familiarity with CRM systems for managing sales activities and pipelines

Compensation Package:
The total compensation package is made up of base compensation, equity, and benefits
New York Pay Range: $75,000 - 80,000 + Commission
