As a leader in online marketing for small businesses, it’s critical that Constant Contact supports the success of its customers and provides the guidance they need to achieve their goals. As the Customer Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, Upsell reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Lifecycle Marketing,  you will be tasked with helping to plan and execute multi-channel marketing programs and initiatives that will help drive our upsell/cross sell engine. This will include plan upgrades, add-ons, services, and successfully onboarding those customers to help hit company targets.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid marketing foundation. You are someone who strives to build and maintain positive relationships cross-functionally. You are comfortable with data, able to pull analytics and help ideate on tests to optimize and scale campaigns. You are coachable, willing to learn, open minded and motivated to try new things. And you have the ability to write and edit content to turnover projects quickly, if needed. 

What you’ll do:

  • Become an expert on the customer, and understand who they are and what they need by building relationships with customer success, product marketing, product management, and other functional areas and teams across the organization.
  • Develop, manage and execute multi-channel customer journeys and campaigns to drive upgrades, add-ons and services that will impact our customers and special projects as assigned. Tasks include but are not limited to:
    • Help identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for existing customers and develop targeted marketing campaigns to drive these opportunities
    • Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns and report key performance indicators
    • Using analysis and key findings to help influence data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Manage all upsell/cross sell flows, automated emails and in-product messages to ensure successful delivery, while raising any issues to the Marketing Operations and Pendo teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve lifecycle marketing efforts

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years in lifecycle and/or customer marketing experience, (B2B and/or SAAS experience a plus)
  • Flexible and proactive, a self-starter
  • Experience managing highly targeted/segmented digital marketing campaigns
  • Knowledgeable about customer lifecycle management and best practices for moving customers through a journey
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
  • Ability to create strong internal and external relationships and build an environment around teamwork and collaboration
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and G Suite applications
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
