We have an opening for a resourceful and innovative Manager or Senior Manager of People Operations to join its ‘HR People Operations’ Team, with flexibility in level based on experience of the right candidate given the significant growth opportunities that exist within the organization. We are looking for somebody who understands that Employee Experience isn’t owned by any one team or function, but rather a shared responsibility and operates with agility that allows them to think and operate with agility and an innovative approach.

If you like to work with highly motivated and empowered people AND you have experience as an HR Generalist or  Business Partner, with exempt and nonexempt employees- then this could be the right role for you. This position will report to the Senior Director, HR Operations & Total Rewards to support the Human Resources team, and all of our amazing employees across the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Your efforts set the stage for all of our new employees and outstanding customer service throughout their tenure at the company. 

*This is a hybrid position working with your team a few days a week from one of our amazing office locations in Gainesville, FL, Waltham, MA, or Boston, MA

What you’ll do: 

  • Manage a team of three, including a Team Lead with significant internal operational expertise, to accomplish business goals while also empowering and developing the team to think critically and accomplish business goals.
  • Drive process improvement projects in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient support to the organization. 
  • Develop project teams and communicate clear directions, benchmarks, and timelines for the completion of related tasks 
  • Define and maintain audit frameworks that ensure adherence and mitigate operational risk for the organization
  • Support a performance-driven, people-focused culture both internal to the Human Resources team and with organization-wide partners and customers to include:
  • Identifying process improvement needs with a solution-oriented approach

People Operations 

  • Own the company’s on and offboarding processes domestically; ensuring a consistent experience for international employees and that compliance standards are upheld. 
  • Use employee survey data to identify trends, recommend action, and drive improvements with HR colleagues and the business at large
  • Own immigration services management at CTCT, including the relationship with our third-party immigration vendor, to deliver employee needs and compliant filings with USCIS
  • Educate and manage the People Ops team to effectively respond to employee inquiries; setting the standard as front-line HR support while triaging with stakeholders when necessary to resolve escalated or complex matters
  • Navigate compliance requirements with a business-savvy mindset; balance the responsibility to uphold state and federal compliance requirements while driving internal processes that allow our employees to operate effectively 

Who you are: 

  • You will have 6+ years of generalist, business partner, or employee relations experience and ideally 2+ years of experience with direct people management experience
  • You are solution-oriented, carefully balancing the right opportunities to seek guidance or influence independently
  • You have high attention to detail and are process-oriented
  • Savvy with HR systems and reporting; Workday and ServiceNow experience preferred
  • Experience with the tools that help us work together and do outstanding work; experience with GoogleSuite, Microsoft Office, and Slack preferred)
  • You will enjoy working with diverse groups of people/personalities and are able to remain calm even in stressful situations

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
