ConnectWise (a Thoma Bravo company) Manager of Outbound Account Management

OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Senior Sales Manager of Partner Sales. Connectwise is looking for an exceptionally motivated onsite Partner Sales Manager.  You will be responsible for the performance of Associate Account Managers- Outbound  You will need to manage the AMs in your team to carry a quota that is focused on renewals and expansions of "existing customers." This is not a new business-focused role, all of the customers are existing relationships.

You will be required to drive sales-qualified opportunities of new partner agreements and introductory appointments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 The Partner Sales Manager will have a huge emphasis on hiring, training, and developing the AMs in their team, along with:

  • Pipeline management experience and the ability to run strategic deals
  • Sales coaching/training
  • Salesforce/reporting experience
  • Process/operationally minded
  • Customer Success/retention experience
  • Overall management and success of the team
  • Ability to hold account review/strategic partner calls

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role with managing an inside sales team for North American prospects.
  • Must be a strong and clear communicator. Need to be hands-on sales leader and motivator that drives results.
  • Must have the sales experience to work through a conversation and be persistent. Need to lead by example and help the team achieve goals.
  • Strong work-ethic and a positive attitude along with a desire to build a top-performing team.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing project needs in evolving situations
  • Independently exercise excellent judgment, discretion, and sound reasoning in making important decisions
  • Excellent professional communication skills required, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to interface with Senior Leaders and all levels of employees and consistently exude a pleasant, polished, and professional image
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects effectively, with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Ability to switch gears and frequently reprioritize while keeping a calm and controlled demeanor Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
  • Results driven and highly organized
