General Summary:

Our Senior Public Relations Manager will be a core part of the corporate communications team at ConnectWise, tasked with identifying, curating, and executing on key external communications from across the company. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Lead, this person will directly manage our PR agency, foster relationships with industry media, develop our company spokespeople, and regularly develop press releases and other content to help us achieve our global storytelling goals. The ideal candidate is able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally to understand and improve processes that touch multiple departments, while building strong relationships across the organization. 

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for unifying communications across the organization, infusing creativity and empathy to drive meaningful communications. This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of communication strategies and messaging to various stakeholders, driving the organization’s reputation and industry position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to cross-functional teams, with a high attention to detail  
  • Researches, analyzes, and documents findings  
  • May coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members  
  • Develops outreach plans for select products and education initiatives and product launches  
  • Drafts a wide range of content, including email copy, forum and blog posts, presentation materials, and in-product experience content 
  • Supports incident management processes for various product lines, ensuring clear communication that informs and protects the company’s reputation  
  • Builds and maintains solid partnerships with internal and external partners to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals  
  • Executes components of corporate communications strategy to drive the organization toward a unified and effective approach  
  • Ensures external communications are aligned with corporate style guidelines, company branding, and messaging  
  • Reviews and implements new programs and partner communication techniques  
  • Drives reporting and measurement of initiatives to regularly assess function results and improvements  
  • Identifies area of improvement and creates resolutions to achieve the development of the department

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience  
  • 6+ years of relevant experience  
  • Preferred: Experience in Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising agencies  
  • Preferred: Experience in Business-to-Business SaaS, cybersecurity, or various IT industries 

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location
