Under Armour is seeking a Creative Director for its Connected Fitness organization. This role is responsible for all user experience, visual design, and copywriting for Under Armour’s fitness apps including Myfitnesspal and MapMyFitness. The Creative Director will also lead integration of the apps into a coherent fitness offering that supports the Under Armour brand and the company’s mission,“Under Armour makes you better”. The role reports to the Senior Vice President for Digital Product and can be located in either Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA.
The successful applicant will have years of experience as a designer and demonstrated accomplishments in bringing to market dynamic, consumer facing applications. A portfolio should be provided. Their designs should be used by large numbers of people, and the experiences produced by their teams should have delivered real value to consumers and transformative value for their companies. They will have led medium- to large-sized teams with diverse membership composed of visual designers, user experience designers, copywriters and graphic artists. Their teams point to the applicant’s leadership as a strong factor in securing the team’s success.
