About the Job

A Field Marketing Team Lead for Connected International is responsible for supervising a small team of Brand Associates while executing marketing strategies. 

Serving as the crucial link between leadership and our team of Brand Ambassadors this role involves not only supporting events and monitoring campaign activities but creating schedules, training brand ambassadors, monitoring their performance, and reporting on the successes and failures of their activities. 

Additionally, while undertaking these responsibilities, the Team Lead is required to maintain their own performance levels, ensuring that they meet their individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This ensures that their addition of these duties does not detrimentally affect their own contributions to the company's goals.

This position is based on a temporary employment contract, lasting for a duration of 4 months, with potential opportunities for extension based on performance and business needs.

 

What You Will Do

  • Assist management in training newly onboarded Brand Ambassadors as required.
  • Attend Events, Takeovers, Trade Shows, Festivals, and Pop-Ups, contributing to event preparation and assistance as needed.
  • Lead a small team of Brand Associates during on-site event activations, and work alongside Brand Ambassadors in the field.
  • Manage Team equipment pick up and returns
  • Assist management in creating market schedules for Brand Associates while maintaining personal schedules
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure team members are present at their designated locations.
  • Act as the main POC for account-related issues and training questions
  • Provide weekly recaps of activities and monitor check-ins and check-outs. On off days, leadership is to be informed by Brand Associates via text upon arrival and exit.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will oversee a team of part time, third party Brand Ambassadors in their territory

 

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in the Cannabis industry.
  • Deep understanding of and passion for cannabis
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape across California. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trade partners.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior and recommend new and effective trade marketing tactics.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work non-traditional schedule, including mandatory evening and weekend work, with days off occurring mid-week.
  • Availability to be in the field and travel regularly.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience, including scheduling and time management.
  • 21 years & older

 

 

Compensation Description (hourly): The hourly pay range for this position in the selected city is $25.00

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
