This is a unique agency role for someone that understands and wants to do both Digital Production and Account work in healthcare advertising.

The Digital Producer/Group Account Supervisor (DP/GAS) manages digital projects fluidly and continues to strengthen their skillset as the expert for digital strategy and execution on the team—they are committed to being a conduit for digital strategy as well as championing the process to ensure proper execution. Responsible for direct client contact with little supervision. Participates in strategic discussions, attends market research, travels to client as needed. Has a strong understanding of agency capabilities and able to comfortably sell in new work to clients. Consistently performs well and is considered the backbone of the team, with specific focus on the digital work. People both inside and outside the agency look to this person to get the job done.

  • Takes the lead role in identifying and communicating Agency recommendations and POVs to the client

Brand, category and customer knowledge

  • Maintains a complete working knowledge of the assigned disease segment, products, and target audiences
  • Maintains a proficiency in the pull-through of client strategies

Project development

  • No longer manages just single projects, but manages groups of inter-related projects and work streams
  • Plays an active role with Project Manager in the planning and execution of all activities
  • Partners closely with creative and project management partners to take responsibility for day-to-day workflow
  • In partnership with strategy and UX groups, develops creative briefs and strategic plans
  • Acts as a key contributor and coordinator of tactical brainstorming 

Business development

  • When possible, guides, advises, and assists in the development and presentation of new business proposals
  • Actively promotes integrated Agency offerings to clients

Financial responsibility

  • Provides accurate and timely product forecasts, manages quarterly reconciliations and billing
  • Builds SOW in partnership with Project Manager
  • Proactively provides staffing suggestions to Supervisor
  • Acts as lead financial contact for client inquiries


  • Teaches junior staff the appropriate protocols for business writing
  • Ensures that the team knows and follows established agency account procedures including client contact reports, status reports, and submission process policies; reviews first drafts of these documents developed by junior staff
  • Writes and conducts appraisals and reviews for direct reports and focuses on goal setting


Actively pursues career development seminars on speaking, writing, and management courses


Background/technical skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in account services in healthcare communications/advertising agency
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
