Description: Running the show. ACDs are the keepers of the creative flame at Concentric. They lead by example—developing great ideas of their own and taking ownership of the great creative people in their groups. ACDs have the privilege and the responsibility of ensuring that all the work is Concentric-quality. With their account partner, they make up the lead triad, sharing responsibility for brand strategy, team cohesion, client management, and of course, creative quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes responsibility for delivering Concentric-quality work
  • Helps to craft creative briefs
  • Always drives the team to extend beyond a single execution to create fully developed campaigns
  • Takes responsibility for the consistency, quality, and creativity of agency output on assigned brands
  • Has a wide view of the strategic situation
  • Understands how to use media as a competitive weapon
  • Builds product knowledge for strategic purposes
  • Masters all presentation skills, including theater, set-up, and ability to sell great work
  • Becomes a persuasive client ambassador in client brainstorming meetings
  • Displays mastery of client management and creative negotiation
  • Engages whole team to prevent fragmentation
  • Recognizes the importance of getting past yourself
  • Succeeds by helping others succeed
  • Delivers ongoing performance feedback
  • Develops a vision for the group with regard to workstyle and creative excellence and then lives it

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ agency experience
  • BA degree (Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts or related field preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A proven track record of creative ability and judgment, successful client contact experience, the ability to work collaboratively with account management, excellent presentation skills, successful experience in managing creative teams and multiple accounts, and the commitment to go the extra mile in time and effort to produce the very best work
