We are looking for a Head of Operations to manage a Home Loans team of approximately 50 team members. Main responsibilities of the Head of Operations are ensuring that objectives are met (calls, sales, approvals, financings), seeking operational and customer service excellence, and being the contact bridge between operations and all different stakeholders (i.e., marketing, product, and technology).
What You Will Do
- Ensure that operations are carried out efficiently and productively.
- Define strategic and operational objectives for the business.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and systematize best practices.
- Coordinate the liaison between the team and the various functional departments (marketing, product, and technology).
- Analyze operational and financial performance to maximize profits.
- Recruit and be part of the onboarding and training of the team.
- Lead, motivate and support the team in a demanding and competitive environment.

- Have acquired a bachelor's or master's degree with outstanding results in Management, Finance, Engineering, or another related field. Financial knowledge is a plus.
- You have more than 2 years of experience leading teams.
- You are knowledgeable in MS Office Excel, Google Sheet, and analytical tools. SQL/Python knowledge is a plus.
- You are a great communicator, have a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and a genuine interest in learning, and acting on the desire.
- You have a strong affinity for critical thinking, analytical, hands-on execution, problem-solving, and result orientation with a good capacity to define priorities.
- Ideally, you are available to start ASAP, but it is not restrictive.
- You speak and write fluent Portuguese and English.
- Bonus: You have previous experience working in consulting or at a start-up.
