The Opportunity:

Presently our checkout team also is responsible for all data and functionality related to customers. From login, to account management, and so on, the checkout team owns everything customer-related. As we move towards a portfolio product management strategy, we are splitting up the checkout team into two - checkout and customers. As product manager for the newly standalone customers team, you would be responsible for technically and organizationally making the customers team a truly standalone entity and team.

Together with our CPO and Head of Product the enthusiastic team is defining the product vision and roadmap. Your Mission:

  • Research and innovate in the space of B2B commerce
  • Define product vision and strategy in collaboration with the other product managers and leadership
  • Define the product backlog and detailed requirements for APIs and user interfaces
  • Work closely within an international team of developers, from discovery to delivery
  • Coordinate work with product managers from other teams
  • Evaluate opportunities to work with partners, and oversee the coordination
  • Become a commercetools product expert, and identify enhancements that benefit B2B
  • Shape your way of working - we believe in strong and independent teams
  • Be a part of the commercetools product management team

What you need to succeed:

  • Preferable 3+ years of experience as a product manager or business analyst
  • A completed degree from University
  • Experience in the e-commerce space
  • Experience with building a new team
  • Track record of coordinating work across more than one team
  • Experience in conducting user research
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent English communication skills.
