The Opportunity:

We are looking to grow the team with a commerce technology enthusiast based in The Netherlands. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling the value of our commerce platform to B2B and B2C Mid-Market accounts in the Benelux region.

Working closely with a team of experts and partners to disrupt the traditional commerce technology market, you will be responsible to deeply understand business/commerce challenges and goals of our prospective customers and educate them on a new approach for building better commerce experiences. 

You will join a diverse and growing sales team in which you can develop your passion for complex technology sales with a direct impact to our business growth.


Your Mission:

  • You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and developing a well qualified sales pipeline
  • Together with your extended team clearly articulate the value of commercetools' solutions to C-level executives and other enterprise decision-makers and buying personas
  • Conducting discovery and executing on the sales process to uncover the needs of large, enterprise companies
  • Developing a strategic plan for your Accounts to meet revenue objectives
  • Timely and accurate updating of data to ensure the accuracy of our management reports
  • To continuously grow and develop your skills on a path to success

What you need to succeed:

  • 3+ years new business SaaS sales experience in ecommerce or retail (or a related direct sales position)
  • Excellent communication (interpersonal and presentation) 
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Structured way of working
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Embodies an authentic and consultative approach
  • Experience of Salesforce CRM, Hubspot, Google Suite
  • Curiosity to uncover and creativity to succeed
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork
