The Opportunity:

We are looking for a US-based Field Marketing Manager with broad skills across all marketing disciplines. Our Field Marketing Manager reports to the Global Head of Programs and will significantly influence the direction of the company from a marketing standpoint and will contribute to the success of commercetools through target group oriented campaigns. 

Your Mission:

  • Create and execute B2B marketing campaigns together with our solution partners and the HQ Marketing team that generate pipeline for the Americas region
  • Plan, conceptualize, and realize all marketing activities for the Americas market (account based marketing, regional campaigning, event marketing, webinars, etc.)
  • Collaborate with our international team doing online marketing campaigns with the overall goal to boost our visibility, push brand awareness, and generate opportunities
  • Organize events in your region in collaboration with our Event Management team

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience as a B2B Marketing Manager in a tech/software company (SaaS/Paas), ideally in e-commerce
  • High skill level in marketing automation, landing page and workflow creation, SEM, social media, analytics, and event management
  • Knowledge of developing target group-focused campaigns corresponding to market dynamics
  • Strong understanding of market development, market segments, and demand in the market
  • Experience in demand generation and account based marketing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to reduce complexity to an understandable level
  • Analytical and conceptual competence, technical understanding, and a strong customer and service orientation
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, prioritizing appropriately and meeting deadlines
  • Experience developing and implementing new ideas and processes
  • Ability to work and influence cross-functionally at multiple levels
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Nice to have:

  • Sales affinity
  • Previous experience in technology or retail sectors
  • Experience marketing to C-levels in IT and business roles
