The Role:

The Agency Lead role is primarily focused on building strong partnerships with senior agency leadership, including C-level, practice leads and commerce account leads, and securing agency and holding company level contracts for CommerceIQ’s Retail Media Management platform and Market Insights. 

An ideal candidate will have an innate understanding of an agency’s team structures, key decision makers, client engagement models, retail technology requirements and pitch cycles. In partnership with both the VP, Agency Partnerships and the Solutions Consultant, the Agency Lead demonstrates the value of CommerceIQ through presentations, demos, and strategic consultations.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Work directly with a VP, Agency Partnerships to achieve CommerceIQ bookings targets
  • Develop and foster relationships with agency commerce, investment and account leads
  • Drive partnership deals forward by providing agencies insight into our products’ functionality as well as helping them to understand what can be accomplished on our platform (efficiency, automation, accessibility)
  • In-depth knowledge of retail media networks’ ad platforms, roadmaps and capabilities and CommerceIQ’s retail level capabilities
  • Strategy lead and participate in RFI and RFP responses as a technology solution and in partnership with AOR
  • Uncover agency and client challenges and opportunities through deep customer discovery 
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to drive efficiency within the sales cycle
  • Understand and demonstrate CommerceIQ technically to all levels of the agency
  • Collaborate with Services, Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing and Sales Operations for tactical planning and support
  • Clearly articulate the value of CIQ solutions
  • Tailor product demos to all levels including functional employees up to "C" level executives
  • Scope the overall solution required to meet customer needs looking out for any potential issues, and then produce and deliver a technical proposal to the prospect
  • Provide input to the product roadmap based on market needs 

 

What You'll Bring:

  • At least one of the following
    • 15+ years of agency experience
    • OR 10+ years of experience selling direct to agencies
  • Extensive agency network and contacts 
  • High level understanding of the agency ecosystem, functions and decision makers 
  • Detailed understanding of the e-commerce marketplace and working with large enterprise accounts
  • A story teller at heart, you are a proficient presenter that can take complex topics and articulate them in a clear, concise manner 
  • Autonomous problem solver - you don’t just identify problems, you identify problems and recommend a way to solve them
  • History of working cross-functionally to reach and exceed organizational KPIs
  • High level of curiosity, high energy, self-motivated; a proven track record of successful career growth
