The Role:
Fueled by our customer and business growth, we’re rapidly expanding our SaaS product portfolio, supporting new ecommerce use cases, new retailers and launching in new geographies. To support this expansion, we are looking for a seasoned executive to run Retailer and Data partnership programs. This is an opportunity to shape the future of how brands will manage their ecommerce business and transform the industry. If you are motivated by the opportunity to work with the smartest people from the industry on the most cutting solutions to help brands move to this new world, and generate billions of dollars of brand value, then this is the role for you. You will get an opportunity to drive business and technical partnership with some of the largest retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Target, Kroger, Tesco, Sainsbury etc) and data providers. You will own the relationship, drive joint business planning and identify new trends and opportunities with retailers and data providers. The ideal candidate will be excited about creating and articulating a compelling vision for retailer and data partnerships, owning the go to market motion with retailers (thinking through and driving commercial success) and comfortable working in a startup environment (without the scaffolding).
What You'll Do:
- Own both commercial and technical partnerships and integrations with key retailers in the US (Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, Best Buy, Kroger, Instacart and others).
- Build joint partner success plan that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationships
- Drive lead referral programs, webinars, case studies, press releases with retailers in partnership with the marketing team
- Identify market trends, new retailer innovation and training programs to educate the CS and sales teams
- Identify opportunities to partner with retailers opening up their data, media or supply chain system to third party vendors. Lead the entire process of developing partnerships. This includes development of the business models to support partnerships and the required resources; structuring of partnerships, including contracts creation and negotiations; defining metrics to track the success of partnerships
- Play the role of retail subject matter expert in sales cycles and customer onboarding
- Source, close, launch and manage strategic partnerships that create new sources of revenue and/or enrich our product’s value to brand manufacturers.
- Be the single point of contact between retailers and CommerceIQ for any technical issues in partnership with the product team. Get CommerceIQ included in beta tests on new features released by retailers
- Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure all teams are enabled to sell the value of the partnership, deploy integrated solutions, serve customers successfully, and ultimately impact revenue goals.
What You'll Bring:
- 6-8 years total experience, 4+ years in sales, client services or partnership roles at media agencies such as WPP, Publicis, Omnicom, Dentsu and IPG
- Proven success in working with marketing executives within large consumer brands
- Track record and expertise in selling, servicing and partnership in the US Ecommerce ecosystem.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a consistent record of beating objectives
- Ability to learn complex and new business concepts and evangelize within the organization
