The Role:
This role will begin as a freelance opportunity with the goal of transitioning into a full time role. The Senior Designer with Colossal Media will be responsible for the visual identity of our brand and delivering creative impact for our clients. This role will support visual strategy and lead design execution on marketing collateral such as pitch decks, capabilities decks, one-sheet overviews, and case studies. The Senior Designer will work with the Creative Director and Director of Communications to imagine, design, and pitch creative concepts to clients, agencies, and partners. This role requires brand-first thinking, creative exploration, project management,  and cross-functional communication that results in a comprehensive collection of updated collateral for internal and external purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and refine 
  • Assess, develop, execute, and refine all brand collateral designs
  • Lead creative thinking to diversify brand collateral and create premium marketing materials
  • Collaborate with in-house and freelance creative team to inform new collateral
  • Lead cross-functional communication to gather information, materials, and feedback on collateral
  • With freelance copywriter, own project management for this internal collateral initiative
  • Adhere to daily, weekly, and quarterly deadlines set by director of creative strategy


  • 5+ years of experience in a graphic design role (marketing experience preferred)
  • Strong portfolio of diverse brand work
  • Self-motivated individual who can manage deliverables on time and within budget 
  • Superior Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat skills.  Decks are created in InDesign—no knowledge of Powerpoint or Keynote is necessary.
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating and learning  
  • Strong conceptual skills and ability to form ideas and execute a clear vision
