We're looking for an Account Executive to join our Financial Services team. As a business getter within the Financial Services team, you will be responsible for qualifying leads and originating new loans, promoting the value proposition of our loan offerings to customers of Collectors’ brands. You will serve in a priority growth area for the company, expanding our client relationship with leading coin dealers and educating the nation’s top collectors on the types of financial services we offer.

You will be a key leader in building the premier collectibles finance business, bridging the worlds of financial services and collecting, servicing a VIP client portfolio, and working on strategic initiatives to support and fuel business growth. We are looking for someone to be an integral part of our team who is driven, enthusiastic, and loves partnering across teams to create great experiences for our customers. 

You'll report to our Senior Director of Financial Services. This hybrid role is based out of our headquarters in Santa Ana, CA, but fully remote candidates may also be considered.

What You’ll Do

Collectors is looking for a tenured Account Executive with a strong outbound sales background and winning attitude to join our lending team. You will be expected to qualify leads, cold call / email them to generate interest, and close deals for our lending offering. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a strong ability to build rapport with prospects to negotiate and close complex deals.

Sales Strategy

  • Use your prior sales experience to inform a creative go-to-market strategy
  • Deliver a predictable, repeatable, and scalable outbound sales process to fill your pipeline and close deals (activities include prospecting, cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, etc.)
  • Partner on the implementation of Salesforce for sales tracking and management
  • Utilize a Salesforce system to report on sales activities, pipeline status, and outcomes

Prospecting and Lead Qualification 

  • Lead the charge introducing our financial services offerings to customers of PCGS and CCE
  • Proactively source new lending opportunities by partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Conduct prospecting and discovery to qualify prospective borrowers 
  • Build trust and foster working partnerships with internal and external channels to drive new client acquisition
  • Travel when appropriate; attend events and trade shows

Lead Conversion

  • Cultivate and nurture a network of collectors and trade professionals to convert for sales
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to convert and close cold and warm outbound leads
  • Ensure that new business opportunities are acted on and followed through
  • Manage client relationships and formal communications
  • Guide clients through the financing process, partnering to propose solutions for individual client needs
  • Continue to follow existing processes and approval matrix for structuring and negotiating deals
  • Pitch prospective clients on additional Collectors services such as Vault, Consignment, and Grading 
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) through proactive outbound sales efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth processing and servicing of loans

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a full cycle closing role with an emphasis on relationship management 
  • A BA/BS degree or relevant experience
  • Professional experience in numismatics 
  • Business development experience (e.g. hunting and cold calling)
  • Demonstrated experience exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
  • The ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Grit, determination, and drive for success
  • Exceptional organization 
  • Effective communicator with a professional demeanor and a natural ability to connect with others
  • Highly collaborative team player, both internally and externally
  • Solution-oriented and self-directed mindset and work approach with a bias toward action

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
