Product and Design: Our Product and Design teams are helping to create a seamless user experience across various platforms to provide the most trusted services and delightful experiences for grading, protecting, managing, buying, selling, and sharing collectibles. Our grading operation processes millions of collectibles a year and serves as a research hub for collectors across collectible categories. By leading the standards in the collectibles industry, we have earned customer trust that we can leverage across our expanding product offerings such as Vault.
Team Overview
As a Product Designer at Collectors, you will help create a seamless user experience across web & mobile to provide the most trusted services and delightful experiences for grading, protecting, managing, buying, selling, and sharing collectibles for PSA, the leading card authenticator and at the helm of a digital transformation. As an early and senior member of the Design team, you would have the opportunity to help shape the team process, creative direction & product vision.
*Remote or hybrid candidates will be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.
What You’ll Do:
- Autonomously own and drive projects, from definition to shipping, that has the highest visibility and is a key business driver with a small cross-functional team
- Work closely with UX research, product managers, and engineers to test features and gain insights that shape high-fidelity prototypes and impactful storytelling
- A mentor for junior designers in creating high-quality deliverables that reflect deep UX sense, high-level and out-of-the-box thinking and decision making
- Own and drive projects, from definition to shipping, with a small cross-functional team.
- Champion intentional & opinionated design solutions to sometimes complex problems.
- Quickly prototype and share early design solutions to quickly iterate in the open.
- Always design user & mobile first.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience designing & shipping excellent digital products as part of a cross-functional team in an agile environment. Tech industry experience preferred.
- An online portfolio and/or case studies that showcase UX, UI, and visual design work for mobile and web
- Can reduce complex problems down to simple design solutions.
- High attention to detail and focus on execution and quality.
- Experience designing with a Design System and making your design decisions based on customer feedback and data.
- Experience working with PM and research to uncover needs and insights based on data and translating them into thoughtful Design decisions.
- Strong expertise in common design tools (Figma, sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Experience with Origami is a plus!
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $135,549 - $220,067. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
