Our Client Success team is looking for a Client Data Insights Consultant to help employers better understand their health benefits investment.  

In this role, you’ll join our dynamic Client Success team where you’ll be instrumental to enhancing our analytic ability into a differentiated client experience.  You will work closely with our Account Executives and Account Managers to maximize and apply insights gleaned from available data, and to use opportunities to share and discuss those insights to help build valued relationships with our clients..  You will also be a key contributor to producing and delivering annual and quarterly business reviews which detail clients’ key demographic and cost drivers contributing to overall healthcare spend. You will also influence development for business reporting tools to support our team’s growth and ability to demonstrate value for our clients.  Your work will help us turn data into insights and reports that will inform and guide our clients’ business decisions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful as a Client Insights Consultant, you must possess and be able to execute upon these main skill sets:

Advanced Analytic Skills

Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data, and to translate it into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for clients:

  • Continually provide analytic  and business insights to address client business gaps and/or opportunities, and to create value for the client
  • Approach clients with coherent, actionable recommendations appropriate to their business needs
  • Proactively identify client healthcare issues and opportunities, and use the appropriate level analytic support to drive solutions
  • Focus on the quantitative analysis of client spend and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
  • Partner with internal teams as the voice of Client Success in the development of additional automated reporting tools for our clients
  • Continuously evaluate data for accuracy, and serve as point of contact with Analytics and other key teams to address any data integrity issues
  • Manage multiple simultaneous analytic projects with complex deliverables

Communication

Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

Develop best practice for templates and deliverables around the data used to deliver the client analytic information

  • Create compelling presentation materials that help to deliver each client-story
  • Educate the client on analytic methods, shape their thinking and influence their decision-making
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to communication; successfully adapt messages quickly to the appropriate level or function 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years healthcare reporting experience within a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Background in Business Operations, Strategy, Analytics or relevant experience
  • Basic/intermediate SQL skills
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Domo a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Passionate about health care industry
  • BS, ideally in a quantitative discipline (engineering, economics, math, etc.)
  • MBA or management consulting experience a plus but not required
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain multiple key cross-functional relationships
