At Collective Health, we're rebuilding American healthcare from the ground up, an industry that comprises 20% of the US economy. We all depend on healthcare throughout our lifetimes, for ourselves, and our families and friends, but it is notoriously difficult to navigate, comprehend care choices, and practically impossible to understand what it costs. At Collective Health, we believe that a dedicated group of people can apply modern technology to change all of this.
As a new graduate software engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of our frontend web and mobile applications, and our backend systems. Our tech stack is a distributed system of Go, Node and Java components with Angular.js and React frontends. Our infrastructure is founded on container-based technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CoreOS) and Postgres, and we love automated testing and continuous integration.
You will learn quickly, surrounded by experienced engineers in either our downtown San Francisco or downtown Chicago offices. We expect all of our engineers to continuously learn, and share that learning across the team. We care deeply about diversity and inclusion and have worked to build a team where everyone feels respected and supported.
We have a ton of interesting problems to solve around distributed systems, data pipelines, data analytics and predictions, system reliability, security, privacy, and more. Find out more about one of our amazing teammates, Leah, who was featured in our 'Meet the Collective' series.
