In this dynamic role, you will take charge of overseeing daily shift operations, ensuring seamless compliance with company policies and procedures while leading and inspiring a team. Additionally, you will play a crucial role as the backup for the Operations Manager. This is a 100% onsite, overnight role, perfect for those who thrive in a hands-on environment. The Operations Supervisor will spend up to six months training on day shift before transitioning to nights.

This role is located fully onsite in Sumner, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Communicate effectively with floor associates, customer supervisors, and staffing agencies.
  • Track shift goals and ensure adherence.
  • Train, oversee, and develop Robot Specialists, ensuring they are fit for duty.
  • Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing training as needed.
  • Step in for Robot Specialists or Operations Manager as needed.
  • Perform end of shift recap.

Financial:

  • Monitor and track the hours worked by Robot Specialists.
  • Work to limit overtime and manage labor costs efficiently.

Safety:

  • Uphold and enforce both Cobot and the customer’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on and follow established safety protocols.
  • Document and report safety concerns and incidents to Operations Manager.

Customer Relations:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with all customer stakeholders.
  • Understand customer’s business objectives to ensure seamless robot implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business plus at least one year of professional experience, or 3-5 years relevant experience without professional degree.
  • Ability to work night and day shifts.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Experience in leading and training a team.
  • Familiarity with robotics, automated systems, or WMS.
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience launching new warehouses, automation, or systems.
  • Experience working with third party labor.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Sumner, WA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
